How to Hard Reset the Samsung Transform (Sprint) Samsung Indulge(Cricket)


The Samsung Transform is highly customizable and you have been hard at work tweaking it to your liking, but now the fun is over and you want to return it to its factory settings again.
Here, we show you how to hard reset the Samsung Transform with step by step instructions.
Please note that all data will be deleted from the Samsung Transform as a result of this procedure. This process may or may not delete data stored on the microSD card. We recommend backing up all of your personal data before proceeding.
First, try this:
  1. From the main home screen, tap menu
  2. Tap Settings, then Privacy
  3. Tap Factory data reset
  4. Tap Reset phone
  5. Enter your password if required, then tap Erase everything to confirm
If that doesn't work, or if your phone is frozen:
  1. Turn the power off. If your Samsung Transform is frozen, pull the battery out and reinsert it
  2. Hold the Volume Down button
  3. Press and hold the Power button until the device turns on
  4. You are now presented with a menu that allows for Fastbook, Recovery, Clear Storage, and Simlock
  5. Select Clear Storage by pressing the Volume Down button
  6. Press and release the Power button
  7. Now simply confirm your decision: Volume Up for YES and Volume Downfor NO
All data including third-party applications will be deleted from the Samsung Transform. Once the wipe is complete, the phone will reboot to its factory fresh state.

How to Bypass or Manually Program the HTC Merge Verizon ADR6325

The HTC Merge requires Over the Air (OTA) programming to be completed to function normally.  If an OTA cannot be done, then you can bypass the activation screen and manually program the device by pressing "Emergency Call" and follow these steps:

  • With the slide closed, select Emergency
  • From the dialer screen, enter # # 7 7 6 4 7 2 6 and then hit Call
  • Service Code: ____ will appear, tap in the box to bring up the virtual keyboard and enter the 6 digit code (Default is 000000) and then hit OK
  • Select NAM General
  • Select the box to edit the phone number (MDN=mobile dialing number)
  • Enter the 10 digit phone number by erasing any existing information with the delete key, then hit the 12# to change the display to numbers
  • Select the Back Arrow (next to the Menu Key)
  • Select NAM CDMA Settings
  • Select MIN1
  • Hit the box again, use the delete key to erase any existing info, hit the 12# to change to numbers again and enter the last 7 digits of your MIN (Mobile Identifying Number) then hit OK
    • If the MIN isn't known or not on your receipt, then call your carrier for that info.
  • Select MIN2
  • Enter the Area Code for the MIN using the previous methods of selecting #12 to switch the keyboard to numbers.
  • Scroll down to Home SID/NID #1
  • You should get a pop up with Modify Home SID/NID #1
  • Hit in the box to edit the SID
  • Enter the SID 
    • If not known, request from your carrier or view it from your old phones. The SID is based on your location and should be the same as your previous phone.
  • Your NID should read as 65535, as long as it's correct, hit OK when done
  • Select Menu
  • Select Commit Modifications
And that's it, You're All Set!

How to Hard/Factory Reset the T-Mobile HTC MyTouch 4g Phone

T-Mobile myTouch 4G Android Phone, Black (T-Mobile)
Performing a hard reset  of the Mytouch 4g will remove ALL data including the Google account, system data, application data, application settings, and downloaded applications. Typically this will not erase the contents on the SD card, but a final backup is always recommended.  Only perform this reset if absolutely necessary.


Standard Process

  • From the home screen, go to MENU, and then press Settings.
  • Hit SD & phone storage
  • Factory data reset
  • Tap Reset phone 
  • Hit Erase everything.

Alternate method (if the phone can't be turned on)
  • With the phone turned off, press and hold the VOLUME DOWN button, and then briefly press the POWER button.
  • Wait for the screen with the three Android images to appear, and then release the VOLUME DOWN button.
  • Press VOLUME DOWN to select FACTORY RESET, and then press the POWER button

How to Install Android 2.3 Gingerbread on HTC HD2 Leo Phone (Video & Manual Instructions)


Android 2.3 Gingerbread on HTC HD2 is not perfect yet. There are bugs flying around. But rest assures that they will be fixed by those great developers. So these bugs don’t stop you to try it, right? The installation is the same as Android 2.2 Froyo. For Froyo experts, you can skip this post now. New comers, please stay with me…
Prerequisites
  • SPL 3.03
  • Radio 2.15
  • Official HTC HD2 ROM v3.14
  • Android 2.3 Gingerbread ROM
First of all, upgrade to latest official HTC HD2 ROM Version 3.14 if you are using old HTC HD2 Windows Mobile ROM like v1.48, v1.66 or v1.72. Follow the video guide ~ How to upgrade Windows Mobile ROM on HTC HD2? if you don’t know to do so. Official HTC HD2 ROM version 3.14 will install SPL 3.03 and Radio 2.15 on your phone. And this makes Android working on HTC HD2.





Step by Step Guide
  1. Power off your phone.
  2. Press volume down button (don’t let go) and power on your phone.
  3. It will load into bootloader.
  4. You should get ‘Red, Green, Blue and White’ screen with SPL-3.03.
  5. Take off the battery.
  6. Power on your phone.
  7. You should see R 2.15.50.14 and D 3.14.xx at bottom of the screen with green HTC Logo.
  8. Connect USB cable from PC to phone after Windows Mobile loaded.
  9. Select ‘Disk Drive’ and click ‘Done’.
  10. Open removable disk (SD card storage) at PC.
  11. Open MDJ_GingerBread_HD2_v.1.0_RC5_RAM_STOCK.7z with 7-Zip.
  12. Copy ‘Android’ folder to desktop.
  13. Then copy it to SD card.
  14. Disconnect USB cable from phone.
  15. Open ‘File Explorer’.
  16. Go to ‘Storage Card’.
  17. Select ‘Android’ folder.
  18. Click on ‘CLRCAD’ first. (note – nothing show up is normal)
  19. Then click on ‘HARET’. (just click ‘Yes’ if unknown publisher warning prompt up)
  20. First time Android loading will take around 1 – 2 minutes.
  21. Follow phone onscreen instructions to setup.
  22. That’s all.
